How To Prepare For Your Zoom Call With Pastor Lloyd
Camera Angle and Position
Raise the laptop: Place your laptop on a stack of books or a sturdy box so the built-in camera sits right at your eye level.
Avoid low angles: Lifting the device stops the awkward upward angle that looks up your nose or creates a double chin.
Look at the lens: Glance directly at the tiny camera lens—not the screen—when you are speaking to make eye contact with others.
Lighting and Background
Face the light: Sit facing a window or a lamp so the light falls directly on your face.
Never backlight: Do not sit with a bright window or lamp behind you, which turns you into a dark shadow.
Clear the clutter: Move random items out of view or pick a clean, solid wall to sit in front of. Use a virtual background if your room is messy.
Audio and Internet
Make sure you are in a quiet place. If not, consider plugging in a pair of wired or Bluetooth headphones with a built-in mic to stop echo and block out room noise.
Mute when quiet: Hit the mute button whenever you are not talking to keep background sounds away from the meeting.
Close heavy apps: Shut down extra browser tabs, video games, or large downloads to give your internet connection full speed for the call.

It is very important that you are on the zoom at the time you agreed to schedule it. Unfortunately the zoom will be cancelled if you are not able to make your agreed upon time.
