  • Hebrews 8:6 "But in fact the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which he is mediator is superior to the old one, since the new covenant is established on better promises."

  • Matthew 8:16-17 NIV "When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick. This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah:" He took up our infirmities and bore our diseases." (The Message? That evening a lot of demon-afflicted people were brought to him. He relieved the inwardly tormented. He cured the bodily ill. He fulfilled Isaiah's well-known sermon: He took our illnesses, He carried our diseases),

  • Matthew 9:35 "Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness."

  • Matthew 14:14 "When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them and healed their sick."

  • Matthew 14:35-36 "And when the men of that place recognized Jesus, they sent word to all the surrounding country. People brought all their sick to him and begged him to let the sick just touch the edge of his cloak, and all who touched it were healed."

  • Matthew 15:30-31 "Great crowds came to him, bringing the lame, the blind, the crippled, the mute and many others, and laid them at his feet; and he healed them. The people were amazed when they saw the mute speaking, the crippled made well, the lame walking and the blind seeing. And they praised the God of Israel."

  • John 5:19 Jesus gave them this answer: "Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.

  • 10:37 "Do not believe me unless I do the works of my Father."

  • John 14:9 Jesus answered: "Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among yousuch a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'? Vs 11 "Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves."

  • Acts 2:43 "Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles."

  • Acts 5:15-16 "As a result, people brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter's shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by. Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those tormented by impure spirits, and all of them were healed."

  • Acts 6:8 "Now Stephen, a man full of God's grace and power, performed great wonders and signs among the people."

  • Acts 8:6-7 When the crowds heard Philip and saw the signs he performed, they all paid close attention to what he said. For with shrieks, impure spirits came out of many, and many who were paralyzed or lame were healed.

  • Acts 28:8-9 His father was sick in bed, suffering from fever and dysentery. Paul went in to see him and, after prayer, placed his hands on him and healed him. When this had happened, the rest of the sick on the island came and were cured.

  • I Peter 2:24 "He himself bore our sins" in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; "by his wounds you have been healed."

Healing

Why are we not seeing the healing miracles that are a very real part of the Bible, today? Physical healing was always, and is, an integral part of Jesus’ ministry. We might hear about some miracles but many of us are skeptics. We find it hard to believe or even talk to God about our personal illness. I found out in my years in ministry that when I taught healing from the Bible, that the tide of people believing rose and more people were supernaturally healed. The Bible says:
